Net-30 in 24 hours: how we approve B2B terms faster than the catalog houses
Tax-exempt cert plus three trade references gets terms approved next business day. Here's what's actually on our credit form — and why we'll never ask for a personal guarantee from an LLC.
Most catalog distributors take 5–10 business days to approve Net-30 because their credit process runs through a third-party bureau and a manual underwriter. We approve in 24 hours by keeping the workflow in-house: receive a complete application before 10 AM, decide before 5 PM the same day, account live the next morning.
What we need: (1) tax-exempt certificate (or W-9 if you're not exempt), (2) three trade references with contact info, (3) federal EIN or state business registration, and (4) an authorized buyer list. That's it. No personal guarantee, no bank statements, no Dun & Bradstreet rating required.
Why we don't ask for personal guarantees: if you're an LLC, asking the principal to personally guarantee a Net-30 line undermines your corporate veil and slows the cycle. We'd rather underwrite the business on its merits and use credit limits to manage exposure. So far, charge-off rate is under 0.4%.
